Sheet Metal Fabrication & Welding Services

Welding and fabrication services are a vital part of our sheet metal capabilities at F-Tech Precision Engineering. They allow us to provide a full turnkey solution by complementing our other in-house CNC services – laser cutting, punching, bending and machining.

With additional manual machine tools such as guillotines, cone rollers, linishers and grainers, we can combine engineering skills with in-house design expertise to deliver complex, cost-effective sheet metal design and manufacturing solutions, to tight tolerances and on short deadlines.

We work with most materials, including aluminium, mild steel and stainless steel sheet metal.

MIG and TIG Welding

Our capabilities include both metal inert gas (MIG) welding and tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding. We specialise in light to medium gauge material and weld all ferrous and non-ferrous materials.

This rich expertise enables F-Tech Precision Engineering to provide anything from simple welded components to high tolerance welded assemblies that often combine elements of CNC machining.

TIG welding produces cleaner, stronger and more precise welds than MIG. However, it is typically more time consuming and difficult.
