The Consultancy Process

The consultancy process begins with an evaluation of client requirements and an analysis of how we can meet them.

No matter what stage your project is at, we can work closely with you to take it from concept to full realisation and completion. We can work from a rough sketch, a detailed 3D design or reverse engineer a solution from an existing component.

Our designers use the latest 3D CAD/CAM software, enabling them to identify any design issues at an early stage. Designs can be refined to minimise development lead times and optimise manufacturing viability.

Existing 3D models can be converted to CAD files. Designs are subjected to proof of concept and design integrity testing, before proceeding to prototype.

Once a design is approved, it can be manufactured as a one-off specialist component, or optimised and scaled up for a larger batch run. If required, a prototype can be manufactured to prove concept and design.

Every stage of a design consultancy project is delivered in-house by F-Tech Precision Engineering, from initial review through to final delivery.
