Anodizing Services
Anodizing is an electrochemical process which is applied to the surface of a metal component where a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant and anodic oxide finish is needed.
It is ideal for use on aluminium components but can also be used on other non-ferrous metals.
SurTec 650
SurTec 650 is a passivation process based on non-toxic trivalent chromium that is commonly used to provide a corrosion-resistant finish to a component prior to painting.
It is suitable for sheet metal components requiring low surface resistance and high corrosion resistance, and delivers an aesthetically pleasing silver finish, whilst leaving the part with electrical conductivity properties.
Silk Screening
In screen printing a mesh is used to transfer ink onto the metal substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil.
Silk screening can be applied to bare sheet metal finishes as well as to powder coated and wet sprayed finishes.
Unlike many other sheet metal finishing techniques, silk screening is used only for decorative and aesthetic purposes and is ideal for printing numbering and lettering onto finished metal components.
